Armor makes me think of ancient battles when men wore chainmail. It's very active, the surface design, the bold glaze, and when turned, each side yells, "I'm Spartacus, No I'm Spartacus". A very masculine design.

This  image of a 9th century Viking helmet reminds me of the feeling i had as  i made this vessel. Then i heard the music from the series  Buccaneers and it also captures that ancient military feel even though  i’m mixing eras.
